Starry

Starry's story is an interesting one for sure, as I was not looking to add another female to our program, however there are times during my dog career I just said yes to things, without really knowing why I did in that moment.

Starry was sold as a puppy to a sport home, but as she grew older, they did not think she would be as big as they were wanting for a female in their program to be, so they decided to return Starry to her breeder due to her smaller size. 
As time moved forward, her breeder decided to get out of breeding GSDs and called me asking if I happened to want Starry... an opportunity to own an Ambassador daughter.. I just could not refuse.

I could tell the day I brought her home, she was special. 
Mind you, looks wise she is not my typical fluffy sable type haha, but her heart is what sold me. 
Since day one, Starry has never met someone she didn't demand love from, she has never been "spooky" or "reactive" no matter what it is. I have taken her all over the town and she walks happy on a loose leash around all types of dogs and people. 

When I took her to Xray her for Svs at my vet, she pulled me aside and said "you should think about keeping this one, she is absolutely fantastic... easiest dog I have ever positioned for X-rays and her temperament could not be more incredible". 

The more time went on, the more I fell in love with all Starry is as a dog and what she could produce for so many amazing homes. 

Starry did develop to be within standard, but at 22" at the withers and 52lbs, she is a smaller framed female - which I personally love. 

She has been with me for almost a year now and I am so excited to see all she brings into our life and others for 2026 and after.
